I paint mindscapes, my inner landscape.

I have always had the need to express visually what I could not put into words. My paintings are inspired by events in my life.

Abstract painting allows me to capture the full spectrum of sensations in an image. It becomes a translation from the visual, emotional, and musical into color, motion and light. A moment in time appears on canvas, and as moments are fleeting, I paint in many layers. One layer disappears under the next, leaving only its essence.

My painting is more about the essence than the tangible, the expression of all I am seeing, feeling and experiencing.
